Protocol of Curiosity
Curiosity is a collection of ephemeral jewelry. Due to the destructible nature of the materials, each piece of jewelry must be recreated for every new exhibition.
This artistic proposal unfolds in two stages:
The time of performance: The artist performs a choreography of gestures allowing her to reproduce each of the 11 pieces of the collection as they were initially conceived in her studio and the time of remembrance: The longevity of the performance is ensured by a short video that acts as a choreographic archive bringing the artist's gesture back to the center of the project. The lifespan of the performance is also supported by a series of photographs. Each photograph is of the very first piece created. The photographs are thus as much the matrices allowing the faithful reactivation of the jewel as the tangible memory of their time of existence.
